Lync Coming to WP7 (Update)
UPDATE: Seems like the video is now down… The plot thickens!
Here is some neat Windows Phone news coming from the other side of the hemisphere. We have a shaky cam video demoing Lync on Windows Phone at TechED 2011 in New Zealand. In the video they mention Lync will be coming to other platforms; iOS, Android, and Symbian. The dialogue is tough to understand sometimes, there’s a part where they mention front facing cameras. Some other tidbits worth discussing is that Lync Mobile will be coming out “Q4″ and another where they quote Steve Ballmer as having said applications that are multi-platform from Microsoft for the mobile landscape with come first and best for Windows Phone. There is a question at the end of the video from a member in the audience that is diffuclt to understand but sounded juicy since it elicited a vague response from the two gentlemen on stage.
